After turning the AC off for the last couple of days, it’s back on with temps climbing back into the upper 80’s this weekend.
And even though I’m not AS busy as I was last weekend, there’s still a LOT going on for yours truly.
We’ll be at Valley High Golf Course today for our SOLD-OUT, 8th Annual “Talk Birdie To Me” charity golf outing to benefit the Rock Foundation. Got a wedding celebration thing tomorrow afternoon, and a Rock Stop at Brenda’s Bar in Melvina on Sunday. The 95 Days of Summer are in full swing, and you can find a full list of Rock Stops here.

FRIDAY – CULT MOVIE NIGHT @ THE RIVOLI THEATER
Dude. I absolutely LOVE these movies. Kinda bummed that I likely won’t be able to make it due to our golf outing.
Doors at the Rivoli Theater are at 5pm, with “The Crow” beginning at 6pm. Followed by a brief intermission, and then “The Toxic Avenger” starting at 8pm.

SATURDAY – TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY @ GREAT RIVER HARLEY-DAVIDSON
Holy crap! Has it really been two years since Brody & the crew took over? Where has the time gone???
Get to Great River Harley-Davidson this Saturday morning starting at 10am for their 2nd Anniversary party, with a chicken-Q starting at noon, a custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle show with prizes, demo rides, sales, giveaways, games, & MORE!

SATURDAY NIGHT – SMASH-O-RAMA @ THE LA CROSSE FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY
Take Dad to the Speedway for some serious DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Monster trucks, the famous “Boat Race of Destruction”, feel the heat from the Jet Car, watch the 6-Shooters mash it up, and make sure you stick around for the FIREWORKS!!! It’s also Mascot Night, and your kids can hang out & get pictures with some of the Coulee Region’s favorite mascots!
Gates at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway open at 5:30pm with qualifying starting right away, and the racing/destruction begins at 7pm!
Tickets for Smash-O-Rama are just $5 for kids aged 6-11, $12 for students aged 12-17, $21 for seniors, and $23 for adults. Plus, kids 5 & under get in FREE!

SUNDAY – DUSTIN LAMM LIVE @ LAWRENCE LAKE MARINA
Dusty is my boy! He’ll be serving up the acoustic tunes on the patio at Lawrence Lake Marina on #SundayFunday starting at 3pm.
Likely going to be joined by some of his very talented friends.
Get to Lawrence Lake Marina by bike, car or boat, and make sure you grab something to eat! I suggest the crab rangoons & fish tacos!!!
