Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Hoodie & shorts weather is FINALLY here! No more of this mid-80’s in September bullshit.

Ugh. I’ve been waiting for this kinda weekend for awhile now. No Rock Stops. No live broadcasts. No responsibilities! Just me, some nice weather, and some Festbiers!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – ROYAL BLISS, THE LONELY ONES, & COPILOT @ THE CAVALIER THEATER

The boys in Royal Bliss stopped by real quick about two weeks ago as they were passing through & we talked to Neal & Brian that morning. They spent some time in Northern Wisconsin, camping & tubing, before heading back home.

Now they are coming back to the 608 for a big show at the Cavalier Theater in downtown La Crosse with The Lonely Ones(former members of Bobaflex), and Copilot!

This is an all ages show. Doors are at 7pm. Music starts at 8pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and you can buy them online here. If there’s any left, you can buy them for $20 at the door the night of the show.

Find more info here.

SATURDAY – THE 17TH ANNUAL CHASEBURG SOLE BURNER

The 17th Annual American Cancer Society Sole Burner of Chaseburg event is Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Chaseburg Village Park.

An American Red Cross blood drive kicks things off at 8:30am at the Chaseburg Village Hall. You can schedule a time here.

Registration starts at 11am and the “Best Ever Chicken” drive through chicken-q will also start at 11am.

Activities include vendors, a health fair, a live dessert auction, silent auction, bucket raffle, wine cork raffle, Home Depot Kids event, finger painting, bounce house, face painting, fingerprinting for children, live music, raffle drawing, a variety of soups, and much more.

Find all the info here.

SATURDAY NIGHT – ZANNY NOBLE LIVE @ DEWEY’S SIDE STREET SALOON

Ran into the incredibly talented Zanny Noble at last weekend’s STP & Soul Asylum show at Copeland Park.

He’s a great dude who wails on the axe, so get to Dewey’s Side Street Saloon on the Nort’ Side for his show on Saturday night starting at 8pm. Find more info here.

SUNDAY – MINDORO LIONS CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST @ THE MINDORO LIONS SHELTER

A delicious pancake breakfast at the Mindoro Lions Shelter on Sunday, September 25th from 7am until noon! Tickets are just $7 and kids 4 & under eat for free.

Carry-outs are available, and there will also be basket raffles, quilt raffles, & a bake sale!

Find all the info here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in the Coulee Region this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you have an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
