Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

Only a few more weeks left of summer! I’ve already been drinking ALL the Festbiers, the wife is gathering all her Fall & Halloween decorations for “The Change” in our house, and it’s getting MUCH cooler at night!

This weekend is our 15th Annual Backyard BBQ, so I’ll be busy getting that set-up & torn down most of the time. Hopefully it doesn’t storm too bad on Sunday with some showers & thunderstorms in the forecast.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

Friday – Oktoberfest VIP ticket party at the La Crosse Bierhaus from 4-7pm

If you haven’t heard, this year’s Oktoberfest has VIP access, and for just $100 per person, you can score these tickets at the Bierhaus, or buy them online at OktoberfestUSA.com.

Your VIP ticket includes:

• One (1) 3-Day Admission pass with VIP branding with Oktoberfest lanyard
• Access to VIP & Klub Member entrance
• Access to VIP & Klub Member restrooms
• Early entrance(9am) into the downtown Fest Grounds for the Tapping of the Golden Keg
• One (1) 2022 Oktoberfest souvenir button

Not only can you buy these VIP tickets at the Bierhaus on Friday, you can also sign up for the bike for the 95 Days of Summer! Rock Stop is from 4pm until 5:35pm with Twisted Tea. Find all the info on the bike & a list of the remaining Rock Stops here.

And stick around after the Rock Stop for some great German food, and live Polka music courtesy of the Jolly Button Pushers!

Sunday – The 5th Annual Fundraiser for Autism @ the Holmen American Legion from 11am until 4pm

Stop by the Holmen American Legion for a fundraiser for the La Crosse Autism Foundation.

The La Crosse Autism Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the community by connecting families with local resources, education, and support while raising awareness in and around the La Crosse area. LAF is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status. The La Crosse Autism Foundation events raise money to fund local children who are on the spectrum, their families and caregivers. They strive to put on events that will provide the community with information about local resources, inspire awareness and celebrate those who have autism.

There will be food, a bake sale, a gun raffle, a silent auction, music from DJ Grizz, and much more!
