Groot, particularly “Baby Groot”, has been an undeniable standout within the Marvel franchise. Between his adult sacrifice at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy, to his rebirth in more childlike form, he’s always sparked a lot of emotions from MCU fans.
This is where you should know that “I Am Groot”, a short series on Disney+ is available now.
They made a 5 episode animated series of shorts revolving around the titular character we all know and love. I won’t give any spoilers. But I will say that it takes place between Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2. It’s nothing special, and certainly not of the caliber of other MCU series’ like Loki or WandaVision. But it’s cute, it’s fun, and it’s more Groot.
