Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

A chance of rain this weekend is really putting a damper on my plans to get out on the bike! I’ll be at Shep’s on Saturday evening from 5-6:35pm for the Rock Stop during the 95 Days of Summer.

Hope to see you there!

Other than that, I don’t have any big plans this weekend, so I was hoping to be on the bike most of the time. Guess we’ll see what Mother Nature has in store.

If you’re looking to get out & do some stuff in the La Crosse area this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

TONIGHT!!!!!! Get to the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway for “Friday Night Street Drags“!!!!

Gates open at 6pm and you can either watch…or PARTICIPATE!

If it has wheels, there’s a bracket for you! Cars will be broken into brackets so you race with cars like yours on the 300’ drag strip. There’s also a Shine ‘n Show car show and a burnout contest!

Tickets are just $10, and you can find all the info on the Street Drags HERE.

On Saturday, there’s a LOT happening in the area, but I recommend you get to 608 Brewing for their “608 & Friends Parking Lot Party” from noon until 4pm.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, they had to cancel their plans for “608 Day”, but they pivoted & will still have great beer in their parking lot from:

Find more info here.

On Saturday night, if you’re seeking some chillax tunes with incredible cocktails & outstanding food, get to the Starlite Lounge on Pearl St. above Buzzard Billy’s for the Greg Balfany Jazz Ensemble from 8pm until midnight!

Live jazz music with NO cover charge! I’m a beer drinker, but some of those “cool cocktails” on the menu are really friggin’ delicious! Get some pickle chips!!!

Find more info here.

On #SundayFunday, get to Big Al’s in downtown La Crosse for live tunes from the incredibly talented Ryan Howe!

Weather-permitting, he’ll be playing on the outdoor patio from 3-6pm.

Find all the info here!

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend & you can find many of them on AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
