Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Gonna be in the cities this weekend for the MN Craft Beer Festival! Looking forward to sampling ALL the beers & stopping by Little Thistle Brewing in Rochester on our way back on Sunday.

If you’re staying in the La Crosse area this weekend & you’re trying to figure out what to do, here’s a few suggestions:

Tonight, get to the Roy L. Vingers American Legion for RCCW: Spring Fever IV!!!

Doors open at 6pm and the ‘rasslin‘ starts at 7pm. The River City Championship Wrestling Heavyweight strap is up for grabs in a match between the current champ, Koda Jacobs, and the challenger, Skitz. The tag titles are also up for grabs, along with plenty of other RCCW stars in the ring.

Tickets are just $5 for kids 12 & under, $8 for anyone 13 or older, and $12 for front row seats(while they last!) You can buy your tickets online here.

On Saturday, get on the bus for La Crosse’s Best Bloody Mary Bar Crawl starting at 11am! Tickets for this event are available at Fayze’s and the Blue Moon in Onalaska for $55 and include: Three free bloody Marys, beer & seltzer on the bus, gifts & more!

The bus will be running continuously to the following bars on the crawl: The Blue Moon in Onalaska, Del’s Bar in downtown La Crosse, Neuie’s Vogue on the Northside of La Crosse, Fayze’s Restaurant in downtown La Crosse, River Rats on French Island, Chances ‘R in downtown La Crosse, and the Alpine Inn!

Find all the info here.

Saturday night, check out the tribute to R.E.M. at the Popcorn Tavern! Even if you’re not a huge fan of R.E.M., these are some of the most talented musicians in the La Crosse area & they’ll be playing all the R.E.M. hits starting at 9pm.

Featuring Dave Orr, Laun Braithwaite, Mike McAbee, Christian Sveen, Nori Hadley, Tish Earle, and Danny Davi.

This is a 21+ show & there’s a $10 cover at the door. More info here.

On #SundayFunday, get your butt to the Tippy Toe Inn in Chaseburg for another incredible Chicken-Q fundraiser for the Chaseburg Sole Burner!

The Q starts at 11am and goes until the chicken is gone! There will also be a bake sale featuring homemade pastries and baked goods will also be available.

Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Sole Burner of Chaseburg.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in the area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured at AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
