Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Yeah, it was basically 70° on Wednesday, but it’s going to be back in the 50’s & 60’s this weekend.

Some area golf courses are opening, motorcycles are out. It’s SPRING!!!!

If you’re looking to get out & do some stuff this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

Tonight!!!! It’s Adult-Only skate night at High Roller from 8:30pm until 10:30pm.

Must be 18+ and it’s just $6 to skate! That includes your skate/rollerblade rental and they’ll be spinning all your favorite tunes from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s! And if you miss it this week, they do it again on the 1st & 3rd Friday of every month!

Couples skate, anyone?

On Saturday morning, get to the Onalaska Omni Center for the Street Market Indoor Garage sale featuring 25+ vendors.

Rather than running all over town looking for yard/garage sales & spending all that money on gas, check out multiple vendors in one spot! The event runs from 8am-4pm and is free to attend, but they ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

Saturday night, laugh your ass off at The Main – an Event Space with me! I’ll be your host for Saturday night stand-up comedy featuring Geoff LaFleur & Mario Robinson!

Doors are at 7pm and the comedy starts at 8pm. Just $10 to get in, and you can buy your tickets online here.

On #SundayFunday, it’s officially CHICKEN-Q season!!!!!

We’ve already had a few, and here’s a couple more:

First, if you’re in the Sparta area, they’re having a chicken-q fundraiser for the Sparta Youth Hockey Association at the Zone Bar & Grill.

Meals are $12 and include a 1/2 chicken with two sides, and the event starts at 11am and runs until 4pm, or when they’re out of chicken!

The other area chicken-q on Sunday is the 55th Annual Shelby Fire Department Chicken-Q from 10:30am until 5:30pm or until they run out of chicken.

This event is drive-thru/walk-up ONLY and tickets are just $11, which includes 1/2 chicken with all the trimmings. You can buy them online here, or at the Shelby Town Hall.

As always, there’s plenty of other events in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
