Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend

I think I got most of the dog poop picked up in my backyard. If not, hopefully the rain we’re supposed to get on Saturday will wash it all away and I won’t have to worry about it anymore.

Other than continuing to binge Ozark, I’ve got no real plans this weekend. We’re into season three, so hopefully by next week, I’ll be all caught up!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you’re in luck…because there’s a TON of stuff happening. Starting tonight at the Popcorn Tavern in downtown La Crosse!

Check out some killer tunes from Dead Amsterdam, the Homeland Conspiracy, & NuSense!

Music starts at 9pm and there’s a $5 cover at the door! More info here.

On Saturday morning, you could be Freezin’ for a Reason at Black River Beach for the 24th Annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics of Wisconsin.

Make sure you park downtown & take the shuttle bus that’ll be picking people up in front of John’s Bar all morning! Why not have a bloody first?

This is such a great event and does amazing things for these Special Olympians in our area, and even if you’re “Too Chicken To Plunge“, you can show your support!

For more info & to register, click here.

On Saturday night, get to the Nort’ side of town & check out “Something Familiar” at Our Corner Bar.

They play a nice variety of your favorite 70’s, 80’s & 90’s rock & alternative.

Saw them open up for Smile Empty Soul a few months ago at Angry’s Way Out and they did a FULL version of Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. It was pretty badass!

Music starts at 8pm and you can find more info here.

On #SundayFunday, take one for the team and accompany your fiance to Wedding World 2022 at the La Crosse Center.

If you’re getting hitched in the next year or so, you NEED to be at Wedding World to get info on everything wedding related. Dresses, tuxedos, venues, flowers, cakes, caterers, entertainment & more.

Find all the info & register HERE.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find info on many of them at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured at AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free HERE.
