It’s a LONG weekend and there’s lots to do!
Hopefully you have a fun, safe Labor Day weekend filled with beers, grilling, & live tunes!
This weekend, there’s plenty of that happening in our area, starting with tonight’s FREE show at Angry’s Way Out on Brice Prairie, featuring “Smile Empty Soul” and “Something Familiar”.
There’s going to be food, drinks, a big-ass tent & some kickass music!

On Saturday, get to Ecker’s Apple Farm for their Labor Day weekend celebration! The orchard market opens at 10am, and they’ve got our buddy, Tommy “The Pizza God” Babs serving pizzas from The Woodshed mobile wood-fired pizza truck from noon until 6pm, and the outdoor beer garden will be serving up the brews starting at noon as well.
Plus, live music from Noah & Maria starts at 2pm!
Saturday night, bring a blanket & a hoodie to the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway for the 200 Lap BIG CHEESE Enduro!
Doors open at 6pm with the Street Stock championship & High School championship. Buy tickets here.
On Sunday, you can enjoy two stages with over SEVEN hours of great live music from the Great River Troubadours, the Fabulous Baloney Skins, the Craig Olson Project, the Executives, and more at “Rock The Vets“!
This event starts at noon at the American Legion Post 52 on 6th St. here in La Crosse, and tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. There will be food, beverages, music, dancing & more!
All the proceeds from this event help continue programs that the American Legion Post 52 supports such as providing local military families with emergency financial assistance; contributing funding to accredited PTSD programs; supporting worthy youth programs such as American Legion Baseball, High School Oratorical Contest, Badger Boys and Girls States, and college scholarships; rendering military funeral honors to fallen comrades; and promoting Americanism with Color Guards at area parades and other events.
