Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

It’s Mother’s Day weekend, so you BETTER have something planned for mom!

If you’re looking for some ideas, check these out:

Tonight at Big Al’s Pizza in downtown La Crosse, bring ma out for some ‘za and tunes!

Live music from Nightcap on their patio starts at 5pm. It’s probably going to cool off a bit, so as mom would say, “remember to bring a sweater”!!!!!

On Saturday, help mom clean up around the house! Get up early, grab some of those old pairs of shoes, boots & flip flops that are cluttering your closet and bring them to the Radisson Hotel in downtown La Crosse for the “Shoes with Heart” shoe drive!

The La Crosse Jaycees will be collecting gently used & new pairs of footwear from 11am until 3pm. The shoes will then be donated to developing countries.

Can’t make it this week? No worries…they’ll be collecting shoes every Saturday in May from 11am-3pm at the Radisson.

Saturday afternoon/evening, tell mom you wanna have some sex & beer with Pat McCurdy at Angry’s Way Out!

There’s no Wienerfest this year, but Pat is still coming to the area this weekend for the “PrairieDog’n” fest!

Pat plays from 6-8:30pm and then Mason Peters will play from 9pm until 11pm. Tickets are only $10 and include a free wiener & beer!

On Sunday, go more traditional by taking mom to a nice brunch. With MIMOSAS, of course!!!!!!!

There’s a bunch of Mother’s Day brunches in the area and many of them are taking reservations, including the Mother’s Day Brunch at Java Vino from 7am until 3pm. Please call 608-787-5282 to make a reservation!

Whatever you’re doing this weekend, make sure you make some time for mama.

As always, there’s a TON of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com, and if you have an event coming up that you’d like to see on our website, you can submit it for free HERE.
