Renee Lund was diagnosed with stage III lung cancer in 2015. After 18 months of aggressive treatment she was classified as No Evidence of Disease (NED). In October 2017, she was diagnosed with an aggressive recurrence of cancer, this time with limited treatment options. This diagnosis has greatly affected her family both emotionally and financially. Both Renee and her husband Ron are military veterans and Renee works as a registered nurse. The Lund family is one of the most generous and kind-hearted families, and certainly deserving of our support.
On Saturday February 24, 2018, a benefit will be held for Renee and will help support the Lund family through difficult times. The money raised will go to the family’s medical bills and daily expenses. The benefit will be held at the Holmen American Legion from 2pm-10pm; and will feature a chili supper, silent auction and raffles.
