Sierra Wood, daughter of Tammy Wood and Joe Walter, was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer in May of 2016. She has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy over the summer, and with every round got weaker. Sierra has had many hardships with cancer like losing her hair, not having an appetite, getting body aches, and not being able to do all she wanted to do during the summer, but as of September 2016, she is cancer free! Sierra is a positive, sweet, 17 year old, that did not let cancer defeat her! A benefit will be held at the American Legion in Onalaska November 12th from 3-9pm. There will also be a dance from 9-12am for teenagers only. This benefit is being held to help Sierra and her family with medical bills and other expenses related to her treatments.
There will food, beer and various auctions held during the day.
