Leanne Baumgartner Benefit

Leanne Baumgartner fought a hard battle with breast cancer in her twenties. Unfortunately, many years later, Leanne is dealing with multiple side effects related to the chemotherapy and radiation she underwent. Due to the damage to her heart, she is currently on the heart transplant list at UW Madison and is dealing with significant challenges due to congestive heart failure. Leanne endures lab work, exams, or other tests almost daily. She spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas in the hospital last year and the costs related to these medical events, as well as the much needed prescription medications, and transportation/travel costs to and from Madison, are immense.

Leanne raised two sons, who she is very proud of. She is even more proud when her grandkids call her Nana.

There will be a benefit for Leanne on Saturday, January 23rd at the Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Ave, La Crosse, WI. Silent aution, bake sale, free food and beer while supplies last, live music from local bands including: Guilty Kilts, Sonic Beats, Mama’s Boys, The Shift, and more. Doors open at 2pm and music begins at 3pm.
