Garrett Benzing benefit

Last May, Garrett Benzing had a pain in his left leg. After undergoing tests, Garrett was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomysarcom(RMS), a somewhat rare form or cancer.

On August 21st, Garrett had his left leg amputated mid-thigh as part of his treatment.

Garrett will undergo months of chemo and eventually surgery to remove the tumor.

There will be a benefit for Garrett and his family on Sunday, October 5th from noon-4pm at the Sparta American Legion.

There will be food, live & silent auctions, raffles, door prizes and more!

Proceeds of the benefit will be used to cover treatments and expenses not covered by the family’s insurance. If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute, monetary donations can be made to:
