For the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse.

Saturday, March 14th was going to be a great day.

We had been planning and prepping for the 15th Annual St. Paddy’s Day .01k for months!

The shirts were printed. Almost 200 people had pre-registered online. Brother’s had tapped the keg of Green Beer. The official pace car from Sleepy Hollow in Viroqua was on it’s way to La Crosse.

We were ready.

Unfortunately, the State of Wisconsin, and the City of La Crosse cancelled all public events due to concerns over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Not only did the St. Paddy’s Day .01k get canned…but the Hunger Task Force also had to cancel another big fundraiser for their organization the same night at Stoney Creek.

But, thanks to the generosity of our amazing listeners and all of our kick-ass sponsors, including Brother’s Bar, Hatch Building Supply, Sleepy Hollow, 1st Business Solutions, Genzie’s GameDay pub, and Schneider Accounting & Tax, we were still able to make a $5,000 donation to the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse with the proceeds from our pre-registered runners, and a little extra from 95.7 The Rock’s Rock Foundation.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
