Money will go for a memorial bench in honor of Dianne Coleman.
Dianne’s children, Cody, Cole, Jesse and Jena are natives of Readstown. Before Dianne’s passing she was a strong advocate for a safe environment for her children to play. She was a strong voice and a major contributor to the development of the newly constructed basketball court. We would like to repay her with a memorial bench in her honor.

Easton was born 8 weeks premature on November 16, 2012. On day 8 of life, Easton had an unexplained brain bleed which led to seizures and a buildup of fluid and pressure on his brain. Easton was given a 50% chance of survival and his parents were told he could suffer sever brain damage if he did survive.
Easton was in the Rochester Mayo Clinic NICU for 10 weeks, had 4 brain surgeries, and multiple procedures to drain fluid from around his brain. He finally had a permanent shunt placed to relieve pressure. He has beaten all odds! He survived the procedures and surgeries and a recent test showed normal brain activity for a premature baby of his age.
Help celebrate this miracle at the Benefit for Baby Easton on Saturday May 4th at Wicked Moose from 2pm - 8pm (with live music to follow). Raffles will be held at 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7PM! There will great food, a bake sale, and many activities and games for children.
If you are interested in contributing to Baby Easton’s Benefit or have any questions regarding what you can do to help please contact Tara at 507-951-7087. Monetary Donations for “Benefit for Baby Easton” can be brought to Associated Bank at HyVee North, or mail to: 500 37th ST NW, Rochester, MN 55901.

The vehicles that will be available are the Focus, Taurus, Escape, Mustang, Fusion, C-MAX, Edge, Fiesta, Explorer, and F-150. All test drives will take 10 minutes at most.
The event will take place in Holmen High school’s parking lot and is held during the 3 on 3 Ballin’ for Brandon Basketball tournament. It will run from 9-5 on April 27, 2013. For more information, please contact Greg Imhoff, Holmen Booster Club Representative, at email@example.com

In 2012 we’ll be riding for 12 year old Terrell John Baumler of Waukon. Terrell was diagnosed Melloblastoma Brain cancer . After very aggressive treatment, it was discovered he had developed ALL-T-cell Leukemia brought on from the chemo used to fight the original cancer. The odds of this happening are one in a million.
Terrell underwent a bone marrow transplant and spent 275 days in the hospital. We are glad to say that Terrell has remained cancer free for a number of years now! His treatments, however, created lifelong issues for Terrell and his family.
Terrell has a seizure disorder and cognitive difficulties, requiring repetitive learning techniques. His body produces way too much iron and he has growth issues that keep him from developing at the rate of his friends and classmates.
Terrell likes farming with his Dad, Kenny Baumler, and especially loves John Deere tractors. Jan Baumler, Terrell’s Mom, tells us “he loves music, video games, and hanging with his friends and little brother Emanuel.” But his biggest love of all is football! Terrell is named after Terrell Davis and John Elway…his “wish” is to see the Bears and the Packers play at Soldier Field. Help us send this family on a great family vacation to Chicago for football, The Shed Aquarium, Sears Tower, Navy Pier and more!

This year we will be riding for 9-year old Alexis Barton of Onalaska.
Alexis began complaining of leg pain in 2010. Her parents initially attributed it to normal growing pains. When the pain increased, they took her to the doctor and she was treated for lyme disease. When the pain again increased, they met with bone and blood physicians. It was revealed that Alexis has A.L.L. Leukemia. She was diagnosed in late October 2010 and is currently undergoing her 4th chemotherapy treatment at St. Mary’s in Rochester.
Since beginning treatment she has had a very difficult struggle. She has been very sick for months. Her Mom says “I just want Alexis to not feel sick again”.
Alexis loves spending time with her parents, sisters and extended family. She is a water lover and wants very much for her family to get to enjoy boating, fishing and time on the River!
Once again this year we will be Riding for a Reason with Big Bikes for Little Tikes. Alexis’ wish is for a boat to enjoy with her family and friends! With your help, we can make this wish come true.
Help us help this wonderful local child with Big Bikes for Little Tikes 2011.
