Big Bikes for Little Tikes is coming up May 16th! Once again we will be Riding for a Reason! It will be 100 miles of the Coulee Region for a great cause!
This year we will be riding for 11-year-old Jonathan Hoff of Chaseburg. In August of 2000, when Jonathan was 22 months, he was diagnosed with his first cancer, stage 4, metastatic Rhabdomyosarcoma. Jonathan was treated at UW Madison. August 28, 2001, he had completed his treatment for the Rhabdomyosarcoma and was considered to be in remission. He was cancer free until May of 2008. At age 9 Jonathan was again diagnosed with cancer, this time in was Osteosarcoma. He underwent 7 months of intense chemotherapy.
It was tough for Jonathan’s family. Now with 4 other children ages 16, 11, 10 & 5, and a farm to run. But the adjustment was toughest on Jonathan. He was not able to enjoy the outdoors as much as he would have liked because his chemotherapy required a lot of time in the hospital. Jonathan finished his treatments in Janurary of this year and is now back in school full time.

Once again this year we will be Riding for a Reason with Big Bikes for Little Tikes. Jonathan is an outdoors kid and loves to go hunting, fishing, sledding, riding go carts, swinging on the rope in the hay barn or whatever he may find to do with friends and family. With your help, we are going to send Jonathan on a Guys only Canadian Fly-in Fishing Trip with his family! Help us make Jonathan’s wish come true and come out and participate in Big Bikes for Little Tikes 2009!
Make sure you also hit the after party at the Southside Fest Grounds and enjoy some brats and beers while The Headbolts hit the stage!
