Ida Olson, from Westby Wisconsin, was diagnosed with breast cancer last October. Shortly before Christmas she underwent a double mastectomy only to find that there was cancer in both breasts and some near by lymph nodes. After healing from the surgery, she began chemotherapy. She was blessed to only have to do three sessions, but the treatment took a serious toll on her body. She is facing reconstructive surgery in the next couple of months.
There is a benefit for Ida on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Westby Snow Flake Ski Club on County P in Westby, WI.
There will be food, multiple raffles, a silent auction, a live auction, 50/50, tip boards and a bake sale, including a home-made pie auction!
There will also be a DJ and refreshments.
