Tanya Urbanek is suffering from Glioblastoma Multiforme(brain cancer) that is incurable. She had her first surgery at the end of November to have the tumor removed, however, her tumor is back and the doctors say she only has 2-6 months to live. Since her first surgery she has been in and out of the hospital due to her illness.
Her family is currently planning a benefit on Feb. 25th at The American Legion in Black River Falls. There will be silent auctions, a gun raffle, food, and music.
All proceeds from the benefit will go to aid in her medical bills, funeral costs and then college funds for her children. There is an account set up at CCU in Black River Falls under her name for donations.
