Dale Torgerson Benefit

Filed under: News — Jean @ 9:33 am

Dale Torgerson of Viroqua, was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome back in February. It is a rare auto immune disorder that occurs when the immune system attacks the nervous system, leaving the body in paralysis. It only affects 1 or 2 people for every 100,000 people.

He spent 62 days at Gundersen Lutheran and during that time, his dairy farm has been put on hold, with the necessary duties having to be done by hired help. Dale lives in rural Viroqua with his wife Brenda and their 3 daughters.

There will be a benefit for Dale and his family on Saturday, October 9th from 11am until 5pm at the Viroqua VFW. There will be food and refreshments, along with a bake sale, a pie auction, a silent auction, a live auction and MANY other activities.
An account has been opened at the WCCU, 105 Randy Road, Cashton, WI 54619, or any of their other branches, titled Dale Torgerson Benefit for any monetary donations.

For more info, call Lori Dickman, 654-7812 or Karri Yttri at 606-0644. Funds supplemented by Thrivent Financial.
