Recently, A fire destroyed buildings in downtown La Crosse, claiming six apartments. One of those apartments belonged to La Crosse area musician, Tim Powers. He lost nearly everything he owned in the fire and is now forced to find a new home.
Tim is a graduate of Onalaska high School and has been a fixture in the La Crosse music scene for the better part of two decades. Over the years he has lent his talents to countless causes and benefits and now its time to give back.
There will be a benefit for Tim on Saturday August 13, 2011 at The Joint on Jay Street starting at 3pm
There will be live music from Mr. Blink, Actual Size, Brownies, Sterus, Ya See Three, the White Iron Band and the Smokin Bandits.
