Diana is battling Secondary Cervical Cancer, and is unable to work for up to one year. Her husband is Kevin and they have two children, Mark and Emma.
Diana’s friends and family are holding a benefit in Cashton at the Cashton Community Hall on Sunday November 7, 2010 from 11am until 5pm for Diana. She is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation for a second occurrence of cervical cancer. They are not planning to do surgery, as it wouldn’t change her chances of survival. Her first occurrence happened just 2 years ago. Her family and friends are helping her to get to her daily radiation treatments and her continued doctor’s appointments and chemotherapy.
There will be food and refreshments, a bake sale, a pie auction, kids activities, a silent auction and raffles.
Monetary donations can be dropped off at WCCU in Cashton or Westby to the Diana (Scharping) Leis Benefit.
