One week before Easter 2010, Johnell was diagnosed with
Stage 4 Brain Cancer. After failed attempts with radiation,
Johnell peacefully passed away on September 22, 2010.
Johnell was born with spina bi da and given the life span
to age 12, and passed away at 41. With having spina bi da,
she was at too high of risk to have life insurance.
Johnell loved Easter Seals Camp, music, and volunteering
at Gundersen Lutheran. However Johnell’s greatest love was
her miracle baby, Randa, who is now 13.
There will be a benefit for Johnell’s family on Sunday, November 7th at the Log Cabin in Bangor from noon until 6pm.

There will also be a Poker run starting at noon, and a chili cook-off from noon until 4pm. Live music from Big Daddy Cade from 4pm until 6pm.
