In January of 2010, Linnea Rowley was diagnosed with Renal Cell Cancer after doctors found a tennis ball size mass on her left kidney and a mass on her right lung.
In February, she had surgery to remove her left kidney. Prognosis after the surgery was very good. However, another CT scan on June 1st revealed that the smaller mass on her right lung had tripled in size and there was now spots on her left lung as well.
Linnea has remained strong through her struggle and will continue to fight this horrific disease. Due to her rising medical costs, her son, Jamie, is hosting a benefit to raise money at All Star Lanes on Sunday, October 3rd starting at 11am.
