Every year in the United States, 18,000 children are diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes, and the number is rising. Researchers are getting closer than ever before to a cure!! But research cannot be done without funds. On Saturday, August 28th it’s the Third Annual Racing for Research Fundraiser at Copeland Park starting at noon!
This family event will have live music, clowns, a dunk tank, several race car displays, and a DJ.
There will also be food, beverages, door prizes, fishing for the kids, raffles, auctions and a BIG cash drawing!
100% of the proceeds from this event goes to benefit juvenile diabetes research.
