Back in May, a tornado ripped through the south side of town and damaged Jennifer and Michael Mysliweic’s home. The day before the tornado, Jennifer found out that she had stage 3 breast cancer. She went through 7 chemo treatments, but still had to have a full double mastectomy with auxiliary lymph node removal.
Sadly, the family’s insurance won’t cover much of the damage done by the tornado. Du…e to the family’s rising repair and medical costs, this year’s Bernie Mysliwiec memorial fundraiser will be giving it’s donations to Jennifer and her family.
The 9th annual Scotch Doubles Bowling Tournament will be on New Year’s Eve at Pla-Mor Lanes in memory of Bernie Mysliwiec. It starts at 9pm and there’s a $50 entry fee per team that includes your bowling, food, drinks and prizes! 1st place team will get $100.
