The MuFlury Run/Walk is a unique 2.2 run/walk at Onalaska High School that is shorter than most run/walks and is also noncompetitive. All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will go to Sarah Essmann-Frie - an OHS English teacher and Eagle Bluff Elementary librarian, who is battling breast cancer. She recently finished her treatments, but is only working part time so she can fully recover.
Pre-registration: Daily at the OHS main office from 7:00am-3:30pm
Registration: April 2 9:00am-9:45am at the OHS parking lot
What’s New: The Medallion Hunt. The 1st Annual Medallion will be hidden somewhere on the route. Whoever finds the Medallion will get $50, 2 entries into the run/walk and 2 McFlury run/walk t-shirts! look for clues on Thursdays on the Onalaska Courier website http://lacrossetribune.com/courierlifenews/ starting on Thursday March 17th.
What Else: The Fit Kids; Living Health Student Wellness program will also be sponsoring a sKNOW Flake Run that will be run on the OHS track immediately following the McFlury Run/Walk at approximately 10:45 am. The sKNOW Flake run is a free run for any children in kindergarten to 5th grade.
Young or old, rain or shine, big or small, we want you all to participate in the 7th Annual McFlury Run/Walk
